Gotta hand it to Kendrick, he’s made some great albums. The album tells the story of Kendrick’s upbringing in Compton, California, and his experiences with gang violence, drug addiction, and family dysfunction.

Honestly I think he’s one of the best lyrists out there right now. So much of the album is just him telling stories and it’s so good.

Overall, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City is a must-listen for any fan of hip-hop. It’s a deeply personal and emotional album that showcases Lamar’s incredible talent as an artist. While it’s not perfect, it’s still a classic in the genre and deserves a 4/5 rating.
